PICTURE: All concerned with Flemenstar are reported to be "very satisfied" with how Tuesday morning's gallop went on the Curragh.
Peter Casey's charge, 5-4 joint-favourite with Sir Des Champs for Saturday's Hennessy Gold Cup, continued his build-up to the race by stretching out over a mile and a half under regular rider Andrew Lynch.
"Everybody was very satisfied with how he got on at the Curragh," Casey revealed. "He went a good gallop over a mile and a half, the same as he did last week, but he went a bit quicker than the lads wanted last week and they went a little bit slower this time around. They were all very satisfied with how it went.
"I'll just bring him down to the strand on Wednesday morning, he loves the sand and the water, and that will be that."
