MI AMIGUITO (Ernesto Romero/Julio Cesar Mendez) won the Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (Argentine 2,000 Guineas) at Palermo in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
A son of Argentine-based sire Indygo Shiner, Mi Amiguito took the 1m event by four lengths on a muddy track from the previously unbeaten Que Vida Buena.
Second leg of the Argentine triple crown is the GP del Jockey Club, a 1m2f race on turf next month at San Isidro.

THE favourite Vito Corleone (Juan Pablo Baeza/Hector Berrios) won the Clisico Dos Mil Guineas (2,000 Guineas) at Hipodromo Chile on Saturday. A son of the Gulch stallion Monthir, he scored by a length and a half.
