THE top three in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes market were all cut in price by bet365 on Monday as several trainers indicated their intention to contest the Group 1 sprint at York on August 24.
Bet365 cut Bated Breath to 4-1 (from 9-2), and Pearl Secret and Ortensia also half a point to 11-2.

Mayson's price held steady - the July Cup winner is between a 6-1 and 10-1 chance - despite the news that the Richard Fahey-trained colt seems likelier to head to Haydock for the Sprint Cup next month, for which sponsor Betfred introduced him at 7-1 on Monday.
Bated Breath, who is 4-1 favourite for the Sprint Cup as well as the Nunthorpe, and Pearl Secret are due to head to York, trainers Roger Charlton and David Barron said on Monday, while the in-form sprint specalist Robert Cowell could have up to three runners.
He said: "Spirit Quartz definitely goes to York. Monsieur Joe is in the Nunthorpe and might well go."
Cowell could also run Kingsgate Native, like Mayson now owned by Cheveley Park Stud.
Ortensia is set to bid for a follow-up win after success in the King George Stakes at Goodwood, and fifth- and sixth-placed Angels Will Fall and Humidor are set to join the Aussie star.
Angels Will Fall's trainer Charlie Hills told his website: "She was probably on the wrong side as Robert [Winston, jockey] said they were always a length behind.
"The plan is for her to stay in training next year, and if everything goes according to plan you will probably only see her in the Nunthorpe and the Abbaye this year.
"Physically when you look at her next to the big sprinters she's only a slip of a thing at the moment, but with another winter under her belt she should be a very different proposition as she grows and strengthens."
