Nathan Cook returns home after Ffos Las fall
NATHAN COOK, the conditional jockey airliftedto Cardiff General Hospital following a fall at Ffos Las on Sunday, is "fine" and will be back at work later this week.
Cook is employed by trainer Tom Symonds, who on Monday said: "Nathan was knocked out in the falland it looked a little ominous, but happily all the tests were normal and he was released from hospital after a few hours."
Symonds added: "I've just spoken to Nathan and he said that apart from being a bit sore he's fine. He wants to be back at work later this week."
Noel Fehily was on Monday hoping to be transferred from Aintree hospital following surgery on theleg he injured in the fall on State Of Play in Saturday's John Smith's Grand National.
Fehily, who fractured his right leg in three places, tweeted: "Op went well. Had a rod put through my tibia from knee to ankle. More comfortable now hopefully transfer to Swindon today."
