PARISH HALL, winner of the Dewhurst last season did not feature among the final field for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas, as 18 horses were declared for the Classic at Newmarket on Saturday.
Trainer Jim Bolger had expressed concerns about soft ground for the colt, who was a general 14-1 chance for the race, although he could line up in the Investec Derby for which he is a general 20-1 chance.
The stalls for the race will be positioned in the centre of the course with favourite Camelot handed stall 12, Born To Sea in 14 and leading British contender Top Offer in stall nine.
Ptolemaic for Bryan Smart was given stall one, while Craven winner Trumpet Major is at the other extreme in stall 18.
Frankie Dettori, who was available for a spare ride after the news that Godolphin would not have a runner in the race, will partner Talwar for Jeremy Noseda.
