Superlative plan for Olympic Glory

CONNECTIONS of Olympic Glory, second in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, are targeting the 32Red.com Superlative Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting a week on Saturday.

Trained by Richard Hannon for Julie Wood, the son of Choisir won on his debut at Goodwood and then found only the smart Dawn Approach too good at Ascot.

Olympic Glory exercised on Tuesday and, quoted on his website, Hannon said:  "We are looking at the Superlative Stakes and then the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

"Julie's Chandlery was beaten a neck in the Newmarket race and then went on to win at Goodwood [last season], so doing both is not a problem."

King Torus - two years ago - was champion trainer Hannon's last Superlative winner.
