John Gosden quashes Kingman rumours
JOHN GOSDEN on Friday evening quashed rumours that star colt Kingman, favourite for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas, will miss the 2014 season through injury.
When told that rumours on Twitter suggested the unbeaten Solario Stakes winner could miss the season, Gosden said: "That's news to me, I was particularly pleased with him this morning."
Speaking to the Racing Post on Friday evening, he added: "It is well documented that he had surgery to remove a chip in his joint. He has been fine since and is back jogging."
Kingman is a general 6-1 shot for the 2,000 Guineas, but is as short as 4-1 with William Hill.
