Cheveley Park on agenda for Serious Attitude

SERIOUS ATTITUDE is in the frame for next month's Cheveley Park Stud Stakes at Newmarket following her Salisbury Listed race win.

Rae Guest's filly was a three-length winner of the 6f event and connections immediately nominated the £250,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes as a likely target.

However, Guest has confirmed the Group 1 Cheveley Park on October 3 could also be a possible option, although the filly would have to be supplemented at a cost of £15,000.

"She's going the right way but she's unusual for a daughter of Mtoto to be a speedy two-year-old," he said.
"She's in the sales race but a day later there is the Cheveley Park so we will keep our options open and decide nearer the time."

Sponsors Stan James quote the filly as a 33-1 chance for next year's 1,000 Guineas and Guest believes the trip will suit.

"She should get a mile as she's by Mtoto and the dam is by Cape Cross," he told At The Races.

"She does have a lot of speed though but we won't know about that (the mile) until next year."
