Racing update teaser pic

Newcomers backed to make successful debuts

WEDNESDAY'S racing may not be the most inspiring at first glance but punters have still managed to dig out some interesting betting propositions.

Three horses in particular have come in for significant support, with two of them making their debuts in bumpers.

In the 5.20 at Towcester the Richard Guest-trained Di's Gift has been backed into 7-2 (from 11) to make a successful debut while the Peter Bowen-trained Flying Eagle is 5-4 (from 11-4) to score on his first start ten minutes earlier at Ludlow.

They race on the all-weather at Kempton this evening where the Jeremy Noseda-trained Warrigal has been cut to 4-1 (from 14) for the 7.40.
