Five face Binocular and Solwhit in Fighting Fifth

BINOCULAR will face six rivals, including fellow Champion Hurdle fancy Solwhit, when he makes his seasonal debut in the WBX.com Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle on Saturday.

Five of the seven declarations are trained in Ireland with Solwhit joined by last year's runner-up Sublimity, Al Eile, Go Native and Won In The Dark.

The Andy Turnell-trained Blue Bajancompletes the field.

Muirhead and Cape Tribulation were the two withdrawals at Thursday's final declaration stage for the £100,000 Grade 1.
