NEWBURY racegoers will need stamina on August 14, when ladies' day starts with racing, continues with a Westlife concert and ends with a £15-a-head party, featuring tropical cocktails, a flame-grill BBQ and live DJ.
While Chanelle McCoy's other half AP is engaged elsewhere, she will join Channel 4's Emma Spencer on the judging panel determining the best-dressed lady, who will win a luxury break in Florida courtesy of local firm Charter Travel.
Limited tickets are available, starting at £25. Details are online at newbury-racecourse.co.uk, or by calling 01635 40015.
Part of the day is also devoted to the Eve Appeal, which funds research into gynaecological cancers. The course is donating ten per cent from sales of a special salad, created by using edible flowers, to the charity.
