Eternal Stakes on the radar for Exactement

ELAINE BURKE is eyeing a trip to Warwick on Thursday for her exciting  three-year-old Exactement, who finished ninth behind Just The Judge in the Irish 1,000 Guineas on her last run.

Held in high regard by Burke, Exactement has also finished fourth in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes and third in a Listed contest at Chantilly this season and Burke is hoping a return to Listed level can yield a first success since a Kempton maiden success last October.

"She's a lovely filly who has never let us down," says Burke in Tuesday's Trainer File in the Racing & Football Outlook. "Her most recent effort was a mid-div finish in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, which was a little disappointing, but she had run eight days earlier against the colts at Newmarket and was probably still feeling that."

Burke added: "She's done very well physically since then and could go for the Listed Eternal Stakes at Warwick on Thursday."

Exactement could renew rivalry with Winning Express in the 7f contest, who finished one place in front of Exactement in the Nell Gwyn before finishing a highly creditable fourth in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket.
