MOLLY MALONE gave Mikel Delzangles a second Group 1 win of the afternoon at Longchamp as she relished this hike in trip.

The four-year-old spent much of the race on the coattails of her stablemate Vadamar who led them along under Jamie Spencer but when Umberto Rispoli made his move heading into the final furlong it proved to be a decisive one.
Molly Malone lengthened clear of her rivals as Spencer's mount began to toil with High Jinx and Colour Vision finishing best of the rest to fill the second and third spots.
This was a first win in the famous staying race for both Rispoli and Delzangles, the trainer having visited the Longchamp winner's enclosure earlier in the day after Ridasiyna's win in the Prix de l'Opera.
"I can't believe that after only five months in France I have won the Cadran," said Rispoli, previously a Group 1 winner in Italy, Japan and Hong Kong.
"It has been an amazing afternoon. It's the first time I've been to Arc day and I've loved it. I will stay in France for the rest of my life."
James Fanshawe, trainer of the runner-up said: "He ran really well, but the very testing ground took the speed off him. He did jolly well to be second. He's in the Ascot race but I think we'll put him away now. He's one to look forward to for long distances next year."
Simon Crisford, racing manager for Godolphin, owners of Colour Vision, said: ""He's run a super race, but he was always going to be vulnerable on that ground."
