McCoy gears up for fancied rides at Hereford
CHAMPION jump jockey Tony McCoy looks like he could enjoy a good day at Hereford with four fancied mounts.
The 17-time champion starts his day in the novice chase at 1.10. He rides Vulcanite, a 11-10 chance, for his boss JP McManus against smart hurdler Salden Licht, who makes his debut over fences.
He then teams up with Hughie Morrison to partner Stravita, a 100-30 shot for the 2m1f handicap hurdle at 1.40.
McCoy will be back in McManus's green and gold silks at 2.40 when he partners Future Profit, who is 9-2.
His final ride comes an hour later in the bumper with Amifunnyyet, rated at 7-4 by bookmakers.
