DONALD McCAIN sends a strong team to Catterick today with the trainer responsible for the first four favourites on the card.
Winning Irish pointer Abbey Storm (13-8), who cost £90,000, bids to get McCain off to a flyer in the 3m1½f novices' hurdle, while in the following two handicaps stablemates Trend Is My Friend and Dannanceys Hill are both market leaders at around 2-1.
The quartet is completed by Mount Hope (11-4) who makes his handicap debut in the 3.40.
William Hill have drawn up an enhanced 11-4 place treble on Abbey Storm (2.05), Trend Is My Friend (2.40) and Mount Hope (3.40).
All the runners are ridden by stable jockey Jason Maguire on a day when McCain, who has two winners so far in February, aims to kickstart the month before the possible appearance of Peddlers Cross at Musselburgh on Wednesday.
