STRONG market support for Marvelino suggests the maiden can get off the mark at the 13th attempt in the 2.30 at Lingfield this afternoon.
Equipped in first-time cheekpieces and dropped back to 5f, Marvelino also has the assistance of jockey Robert Winston, who rode a double at Wolverhampton on Sunday.
Standout odds of 2-1 are long gone with the Paddy Eddery-trained three-year-old, who ran in some top races as a juvenile, a general 5-4 shot.
The opposition includes the Eve Johnson Houghton-trained Panther Patrol, ninth on debut at Salisbury last summer.
His trainer tweeted: "Panther Patrol may be a bit ring rusty after long layoff but in good form and should go well."
