Market Rasen calls inspection for Tuesday

MARKET RASEN will inspect at 8am on Monday for its meeting on Tuesday.

Temperatures dipped to -8C on Friday night, leaving raceday clerk of the course Robert Bellamy cautious whether racing will take place.

"I'm no more than hopeful," he said on Saturday morning. "It was very cold last night and we've sleet and snow forecast for today, but then temperatures are forecast to rise from tomorrow."
