CHARLIE LONGSDON has been firing in the winners this month and punters are latching on to the in-form trainer's runners at Southwell this afternoon with Joseph Lister a positive in the handicap hurdle at 2.15.
The form of the five-year-old's second to Tony Star last time has been boosted since with the Fontwell winner going on to run solid races in defeat in two Graded races.
BetVictor go 13-8 (from 5-2) about Joseph Lister, though some firms are as big as 9-4, while stable-mate Tatispout is vying for favouritism in the opening race at 2-1 having been 9-2 first thing.
Tony McCoy has three rides booked on the card and William Hill have priced up a special treble on the 17-time champion jockey's mounts. They go 15-1 Liberate (3.20) to win and both Listen And Learn (1.45) and Well Hello There (2.15) to be placed.
