A trip Stateside could be on the cards for Falmouth Stakes winner Nahoodh

A TRIP Stateside could be on the cards for Nahoodh with the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland on October 11 under consideration.

Since joining Mark Johnston earlier this season, thethree-year-old has won the Falmouth Stakes and put up arguably an even better performance when beaten just a neck by Lush Lashes in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown last time.

Although the shorter trip to Newmarket for the Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes has not been ruled out, connections are currently favouring America.

                               
"We are not dismissing the Sun Chariot completely but our number one option at the moment is to go to Keeneland," said Johnston.

"The Queen Elizabeth is the race we are favouring so we will just have to see what happens."

The Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes is a Grade One race for fillies run over one mile and a furlong.

John Gosden won the race with the Prince Khalid Abdullah-owned Ryafan in 1997.
