MARK JOHNSTON'S incredible Glorious Goodwood meeting continued as Pricewise pick Fulbright gave him a fifth winner of the week.
It was also a fifth winner in the race for Johnston but only a first winner at Goodwood this week for Silvestre de Sousa.
Mabait, sent off at 33-1, ran a huge race under Alice Haynes to finish a length and a quarter behind the 7-1 winner, with Mister Music flying late to take third and last year's winner Boom And Bust finishing fourth.
Although horses drawn against the rail have historically dominated in this race, Fulbright, who was completing a hat-trick following two wins on Newmarket's July course, was the only one of the placed horses to run from a single number stall, have broken from stall eight.
The winning jockey said: "His [Johnston's] horses are in form and the yard is going brilliant.
"There was plenty of speed in the race but he is a horse who has won over six and seven so I never had any doubt that he would not have the speed."
De Sousa, who had his mount prominent throughout, added: "He is the kind of horse who can be dropped back or kept over a mile. If you place him right he will be right there.
"I am pleased that it worked out well for me."
