Fanunalter to have last start for Botti yard
Qatar: Fanunalter, who has been running in Dubai this winter for Marco Botti, is set to have his final start for the stable when he contests the Qatar International Cup in Doha on day two of the country's flagship meeting.
Fanunalter rejoined Botti after winning last year's Summer Mile at Ascot when trained by Michael Wigham but has finished down the field in two Group 2 starts in Dubai so far this year and is expected to remain in Qatar to continue his career.
As well as Doha on Wednesday, he is also declared at Meydan on Thursday but is more likely to run at Al Rayyan Park, as long as transport from Dubai can be organised.
Botti said: "He ran a poor race in Meydan last time and I am sending him to the owner, who also trains in Qatar, and he will stay there."
