Twice a winner for Sir Henry Cecil in Britain, Specific Gravity changed hands for 32,000gns at Tattersalls last October and will be having his first start for his new trainer in the featured 1m handicap, the only turf race on the six-race card.
He will be ridden by Christophe Soumillon, who rode two of the trainer's winners on Thursday.
"We thought he would be a fun horse for his syndicate and he is going well at home," said De Kock.
"He will improve from the run but hopefully can be competitive."
