Ludlow inspects on ahead of Monday card

LUDLOW will hold an 8am inspection on Sunday ahead of their Monday fixture.

Clerk of the course Bob Davies was not optimistic on the chances of the meeting passing the inspection.

He said: "We are frozen at the moment and we had a -6C frost last night.

"We had -4C the night before and -4C again the night before that and while we have covers down on the worst areas, it is impossible for us to cover it all.

"We have another frost forecast tonight and temperatures may just get above freezing tomorrow before another frost Sunday night.

"Realistically if the weather forecast is right our chances are very, very slim."
