Solar Deity supported to win at Wolverhampton
IN AN hour's time Wolverhampton's marathon 15-race card gets under way and not surprisingly there have been some notable morning moves for several runners.
However, the sheer number of races at Wolverhampton has led to punters taking a more reserved, calculating and specific approach, with Marco Botti's hat-trick-seeking Solar Deity all the rage.
The four-year-old, who will be ridden by Seb Sanders in the 6.00, is now a best-priced 11-10 (from 11-8) while Miss Bunter, who runs for the in-form David O'Meara, is 11-8 (from 7-4). O'Meara has trained three winners from five runners in 2013 and Miss Bunter is well-fancied to increase that total.
Over jumps there have also been several moves, both at Lingfield and Musselburgh. At Lingfield in the 1.50 Ballygarvey is 4-1 (from 7) while at the Scottish venue Inoogoo (2.10) is 5-2 (from 4) and Pentiffic is 9-2 (from 6) for the 3.10.
