Lingfield goes ahead after scrapping inspection

THIS afternoon's jumps meeting at Lingfield will go-ahead as planned after the course experienced a dry night and cancelled the need for a morning inspection.

The track was under threat from further rain and freezing temperatures, but overnight temperatures stayed above freezing meaning the problems never materalised.

The official going on the jumps course is heavy with the first race due off at 1.20.
