PARISH HALL, winner of the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes and a general 16-1 shot for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas, is among the entries for the Group 3 Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial on Sunday, with his participation in the 1m event likely to depend on ground conditions at the Dublin track.
The colt's trainer Jim Bolger said on Tuesday: "A decision about Parish Hall running on Sunday will be made later in the week and will depend largely on the ground. He wouldn't want it soft."
The ground was described as good to firm on Tuesday and the track's Nessa Joyce said: "We had 6mm of rain over the weekend. Showers are forecast for the next few days but if they don't materialise we may water."
Aidan O'Brien trains five of the ten entries for the race including Nephrite, a 12-1 shot for the Newmarket Classic. Nephrite's stablemates Crusade and Furner's Greenare also in the 2,000 Guineas while another of the quintet, David Livingston, is a 33-1 chance for the Investec Derby.
Winner of the Group 2 Juddmonte Beresford Stakes at the Curragh, David Livingston is one of six O'Brien-trained entries for the Group 3 P W McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes on Sunday's card.
The other Ballydoyle entries for the 1m2f event - Astrology, Athens, Frontier, Imperial Monarch and Tower Rock - are also in the Derby.
The O'Brien-trained Wading, winner of the Rockfel Stakes and an 8-1 shot for the Qipco 1,000 Guineas, Cheveley Park Stakes winner Lightening Pearl are among the 17 entries for Sunday's Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial.
