Milczarek to return next week after appeal joy

KIRSTY MILCZAREK is planning to return to action next week after successfully appealing her two-year riding ban.

Milczarek, who had her charges for passing on information and committing corrupt and fraudulent practices quashed by the BHA appeal board on Tuesday, submitted her application for a new licence on Wednesday.

She plans to return to the Newmarket gallops on Saturday to ride out for trainer Luca Cumani and John Ryan before getting back on the track towards the end of next week.

"Even though I have kept myself fit, I haven't been allowed in a racing yard since December," said Milczarek.

"I need to ride a few pieces of work before I consider myself race-fit, but hopefully I'll be back sometime next week."
