Fallon set to return at Lingfield and Kempton

KIEREN FALLON is expected to resume riding at Lingfield and Kempton on Friday after relinquishing his rides for the last two days due to illness.

The former champion jockey, who hasridden 98 winners this season, gave up six rides at Salisbury on Thursday having already missed his Wednesday engagements due to a bout of flu that initially forced him to sit out his final two rides at Folkestone on Tuesday evening.

Fallon's agent Gareth Owen said: "I spoke with Kieren last night and he told me that he was definitely going to ride on Friday. I haven't heard any different from him since, so I assume it is still the case."

Fallon has five rides at Lingfield followed by two at Kempton on Friday evening.
