OLLIE MAGERN, one of three Nigel Twiston-Davies entries in the William Hill King George VI Chase, is more likely to contest Wetherby's Coral.co.uk Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase provided the ground is suitable.
A three time winner at the track,Ollie Magern finished fifth behind Nozic a year ago and both feature among 22 entries for the December 26 race, which also features Carruthers and Killyglen.
Twiston-Davies said: "Ollie Magern will go for the Rowland Meyrick as long as it isn't too soft. It's all a bit up in the air a bit as to what we do. Wetherby is first preference as it is a handicap but he would have second top weight.
"It's got to be easier for him, but if it's very soft ground there and it's not soft at Kempton maybe we will think again."
