Barron's Robot Boy backed to win maiden
THE David Barron-trained Robot Boy, eighth of ten on his debut, has been well supported to lose his maiden tag at the second time of asking, with the Qatar Racing Limited-owned colt a best-priced 9-2 (from 11) with Bet365 for the 2.20pm at Nottingham.
Conrad Allen's Mr Paranoia has also seen support and is into 6-1 (from 12) for the same race, while 20 minutes later at Newcastle the Jo Hughes-trained debutant Glacial Age is 13-2 (from 12).
At Salisbury the big mover is the locally trained course winner Miss Tospy Turvy, who is bidding to give John Dunlop another winner in his final season and has been backed into 5-1 (from 9) for the 5.10pm.
At Kempton's evening meeting the early springer is Pompeia. Ralph Beckett's recent course winner is now 7-2 (from 11-2) for the 1m nursery at 7.40pm.
