Threat of heavy snow forces Kempton check

KEMPTON will inspect on Sunday morning for its all-weather card the same day due to the possibility of "considerable accumulations" of snow.

An 8am check has been scheduled and clerk of the course Barney Clifford said on Saturday morning: "We will have a precautionary look due to the forecast of heavy snow this evening and overnight.

"Potentially we could have up considerable accumulations of up to 12cm so it is prudent to have a look."
