Firefly backed to dazzle on debut at Huntingdon

THERE may be no form to go on for the concluding bumper at Huntingdon this afternoon, but that hasn't stopped punters getting stuck into Jack Firefly.

Trained by Michael Murphy, the three-year-old was as big as 14-1, but is now a general 9-2 shot for his debut.

At Lingfield, nine Flat jockeys are trying their luck over hurdles in a 2m handicap at 2.30, and it is the mounts of Ian Mongan and Jamie Goldstein that have been nibbled at in the market.

Mongan rides Rosoff for wife Laura, and his mount is now 4-1 (from 5), while Goldstein gets the leg up on Lindsay's Dream, who is 7-1 (from 8).
