TRAINER Stan Moore reports Group 1-winning sprinter Total Gallery to be in good shape as he prepares for the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Sprint at Sha Tin in December 13.
Moore's yard received the all clear last week following a case of the highly contagious equine disease strangles, that was detected in a filly who arrived from Ireland on October 2.
Now that normal service has resumed at Berkeley House, the trainer is considering a racecourse gallop for Total Gallery.
Quoted on his website, Moore said: "Total Gallery is on course for Hong Kong, he looks good and as long as all goes well he willrun a big race. We may well take him to Kempton for a gallop just before he goes."
Moore also had news of star filly Lady Darshaan, who is general 33-1 shot for the Stanjames.com 1,000 next spring.
"She will be a leading fancy for the Guineas and the Oaks in 2010, she is doing really well, growing and strengthening all the time.
"We did the right thing in taking our time with her. She will be a force to be reckoned with next year," the trainer added.
