DAR RE MI delighted trainer John Gosden as she prepared for the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan on March 27 with a workout on Racecourse Side in Newmarket on Friday morning.
The Singspiel mare, who runs in the colours of Lord Lloyd Webber's Watership Down Stud, appeared to relish the conditions as she moved impressively for Rab Havlin in company with Chantilly Tiffany and a lead horse over 1m1f.
The gallop was watched by Lord and Lady Lloyd-Webbber's racing manager Simon Marsh and her performance may mean a proposed racecourse gallop next week is off the agenda.
Gosden said: "I am very happy with Dar Re Mi and that was just what she wanted. She has got the option of going to Kempton, but I don't necessarily feel she has to make the journey down the M25.
"She'll get the adrenalin flowing when she gets in front of the stands at Meydan and we may just let her work in Newmarket again before she goes."
Dar Re Mi, a dual Group 1 winner, ended last year with a length-and-three-quarters third to Conduit in the Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita.
