Tuck bailed following assault allegation
TRAINER John Tuck is on bail following his arrest this week in connection with what is believed to have been a domestic dispute involving his wife Kathryn.
Tuck, 60, who has seven horses in training at Manor Farm, Oldbury-on-the-Hill, near Didmartin, Gloucestershire, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assault.
The offence is alleged to have taken place last month at the home of the couple, who are understood to be going through divorce proceedings.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said on Friday: "A 60-year-old man from Oldbury-on-the-Hill wasarrested onSeptember 3 on suspicion of assault. He has been bailed pending further inquiries to September 23. The allegation relates to an assault on a 57-year-old woman on August 21."
In addition to his training operation,Tuck acts as clerk of the course at the Beaufort Hunt point-to-point course at Didmartin, close to his stable.
