Turner hoping to exceed on Mrs Kipling

HAYLEY TURNER travels to Romeon Sunday to partner Mrs Kipling for trainer Simon Callaghan, who is having his first runner in Italy.

The daughter of Exceed And Excel challenges for a Tattersalls-sponsored Listed race over 5f at the Capannelle.

Mrs Kipling has not run since finishing last of eight in the Group 2 Cherry Hinton Stakes, having previously won over 5f at Lingfield.

Although she was last at Newmarket, Mrs Kipling finished less than five lengths behind the winner.

Her two-month absence should be no bar to a good performance in the Premio Divino Amore.

Sweet Hearth, her principal opponent, has been away even longer and exited her last race in spectacular fashion.
She started 3-5 for the Group 3 Premio Passi at San Siro on June 22 and still held a slight lead entering the final furlong when she jumped the rails at the point where the horses leave the paddock.

Lui Rei, who went on to beat Percolator in the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin, was left to score by six lengths from Diva Cattiva.

Diglett, who was one and a quarter lengths back in third, had previously beaten Lui Rei and Capo Carbonara in a Listed event here. Both he and the third are in Sunday's nine-runner field.

Sweet Hearth had won twice at the Capannelle including a Listed race in which she beat Diva Cattiva by four lengths with two more of Sunday's runners, Lan Force and Eva Kant, third and fourth.
