BRITISH-trained sprinters always carry plenty of respect when venturing over to France and Gusto and Nagham are likely to prove popular with local players.
Gusto (Richard Hannon/Olivier Peslier) made a winning return to action when landing the Listed Spring Cup at Lingfield and connections have opted to drop down in distance as opposed to going 7f at Newmarket later in the week.
Nagham (Kevin Ryan/Stephane Pasquier) has not been seen since just failing by half a length in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury inJuly.
Drawn in stall three, the Camacho filly is housed next to two of the more plausible winners among the home contingent in the shape of Calahorra (Christian Baillet/Christophe Soumillon) and Tibaldi (Criquette Head-Maarek/Johan Victoire).
Dont Teutch (David Smaga/Gregory Benoist) boasts placed form from the Group 2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte last November, although he was no match for Restiadargent on that occasion.
