Guest puzzled by
Hazza The Jazza gamble
HAZZA THE JAZZA is into 7-1 (from 25) with Paddy Power for Thirsk's final race (9.20) this evening, but trainer Richard Guest is at a loss to explain why the three-year-old is such a mover.
Plenty of other firms were around the 33-1 and 25-1 mark this morning, but 9-1 is the best price about the son of Jeremy who is generally 8-1.
He won at Wolverhampton in December and followed up less than a week later at Kempton, but has failed to fire in three starts since.
Guest, who trains Hazza The Jazza for Maze Rattan Limited, said: "He seems to attract support whenever he runs. We had a few quid on when he won in blinkers first time and since then the money always comes.
"I'd hope he'd be in the four but his form is there to be seen - there's nothing more to come! I think 25-1 was silly but I think 8-1 is silly too."
Lees Anthem is the 4-1 favourite for the race with Choc'A'Moca and Iceblast in front of Hazza The Jazza in the betting.
