Guest expects Rivas Rhapsody to go well

RAE GUEST does not send many runners to Pontefract, but the trainer is expecting a big run from Rivas Rhapsody in the 6f fillies' handicap at the track this afternoon (4.00).

The five-year-old will be only Guest's ninth runner at the course in the last five seasons, and she meets Warwick conqueror Fanrouge off level weights having had to concede 2lb last time out when beaten by three parts of a length.

Guest said: "She ran very well last time, she is in good form and the track will suit her. We are expecting a big run, we are very hopeful."

Pontefract is one of four Flat meetings in Britain on Monday, with Ffos Las, Windsor and Wolverhampton also staging fixtures.

Going
Ffos Las: good to firm, good in places
Pontefract: good, good to firm in places
Windsor: good to firm, good in places (selectively watered)
Wolverhampton: standard
