THE leading fancies for Saturday's Blue Square Bet Stewards' Cup will be spread across the track following Thursday's draw for the prestigious sprint.

In a race which historically favours those drawn against the far rail - four of the last five winners have come from stall 15 or higher - Victoire De Lyphar (three), Hawkeyethenoo (four), Waffle (six) and Jamesie (nine) will be racing that side, while Dungannon (24) and Alben Star (22) are among those nearer the stands rail.
Top of the shop, stall 28, went to Bayleyf, while Bajan Tryst picked up stall one. Mick Easterby, who won the race last year with Hoof It, this time relies on Ancient Cross, who will have runners all around as he will come out of stall 13.
