JAMIE SPENCER, who gave up his rides at Goodwood on Thursday, will be back in action at the Sussex track on Friday.
The jockey was absent from Goodwood on Thursday after havinghis foot trodden on when unseated by the Michael Bell-trained Biaraafa before the start of the opener at Leicester the previous evening.
Spencer's agent, David Harrison, said: "Jamie had an x-ray, but nothing is broken. The foot is still a bit swollen but after packing it with ice and taking the day off he will be fine to ride."
Among Spencer's rides at Glorious Goodwood on Friday are Traffic Guard in the Group 3 Coutts Glorious Stakes and Beauchamp Xerxes in the Totesport Mile.
