ONLY five were left in at the beginning of the week for Germany's last important juvenile event of the season, but four supplementary entries mean that a strong field now lines up.

Last year's winner Pastorius went on to win the Deutsches Derby and is officially rated the second-best three-year-old in Europe, so the winner this time has a lot to live up to.
Two French-trained runners, Big Memory (Jean-Pierre Carvalho/Antoine Hamelin) and Beatrice (Henri-Alex Pantall/ Fabrice Veron), both supplemented and both with German connections, add some international spice, but it is not clear if their form in the French provinces will be good enough.
Anatol Artist (Uwe Ostmann/Koen Clijmans) is officially the top-rated runner following his second place in the Preis des Winterfavoriten, but he is still a maiden and the ratings may not mean too much in a field with several lightly-raced performers.
Top trainer Andreas Wöhler has entered two, Protectionist (Eduardo Pedroza) and Stellato (Bojko), who both won their only starts in very promising style and now move up in grade.
Protectionist is the choice of the stable jockey and likely to start favourite, but the trainer says there is little between them.
