OVERTURN looks likely to be handed a well-earned rest after adding to his incredible run of success with victory in the Guinness Galway Hurdle on Thursday.
Donald McCain, who trains Overturn for Tim Leslie, said on Friday: "He has come back looking like he has had a race, but that is more through the travelling than anything else.
"He is still in the Ebor at York, but the chances are he will have a break now and then run back over hurdles in the autumn."
Totesport make Overturn 9-1 third favourite for the Ebor behind 7-1 market leader Harris Tweed.
Overturn's victory at Galway was his fifth in his last six starts. On his previous outing, on the Flat, he had won the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle, while over jumps he
had scored another notable success in the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr in April.
