Sedgefield: was out of luck when it came to staging Sunday's meeting
Frost causes Sedgefield to call off Sunday card
SEDGEFIELD has abandoned Sunday's meeting due to severe frost on the course with no sign of temperatures rising before racing.
Clerk of the course Charlie Moore has stated on Thursday that the fixture needed luck to be on although none subsequently materialised.
With Chepstow's fixture already abandoned due to the rescheduling of the Welsh National meeting, Sunday's racing is restricted to an all-weather meeting at Southwell and Leopardstown in Ireland.
