Tasaday underlines class with easy Deauville win
Report: France, Saturday
Deauville: Prix de Pysche (Group 3) 1m2f, 3yo fillies
TASADAY (Andre Fabre/Pierre-Charles Boudot) backed up her fine showings in the two fillies' Classics in France this season with a straightforward success.
Boudot was always dictating matters and was easily able to repel the challenges of first the Clive Cox-trained Aquatinta and then Sparkling Beam.
"Tasaday was always travelling sweetly and picked up really well, she's done it quite easily," said Boudot, who was landing his fourth Group race of the season.
"She had a little look around before the line, she was waiting for the challengers I think. She deserves to go back up in class now."
Sparkling Beam claimed second, while Aquatinta faded late on and just lost out in the race for fourth.
The daughter of Samum was having her first start for Cox after a three-month absence and might also have appreciated softer ground.

LACAROLINA (Jean-Claude Rouget/Gregory Benoist) was another to impress when making all, easily disposing of odds-on favourite So In Love by two lengths.
"She's a filly I like a lot and although the race didn't go ideally for her she's won pretty easily," said Rouget.
The trainer did not want to name a specific target, but the Group 3 Prix du Calvados in three weeks' time looks a suitable next step, a double was completed by Elusive Kate in 2011.
