Princesse D'Anjou reappearance scuppered
Report: France, Tuesday
Enghien: Prix du Mont Cenis, hurdles, 2m3f, 5yo+
Due to the state of the ground, four of the nine runners were withdrawn at the 11th hour and they included Princesse D'Anjou, who was meant to begin her build-up for a third attempt to win the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris at Auteuil at the end of May.
The hurdle race had been delayed an hour due to frost in the ground, and trainer Francois Cottin decided not to risk the nine-year-old mare. The race went to the well-backed Roc De Sivola.
