After being run at several different tracks in recent years, the Prix Charles Laffitte was moved to Fontainebleau for the first time this season, and in Andromeda Galaxy had a winner who finished fifth in the Group 1 Prix de Diane in June.
"She's a good-actioned filly with superb acceleration and I think that 2000m [1m2f] is just about the limit for her," said Crastus.

Mariol (Robert Collet/Sebastien Maillot) handled Fontainebleau's specialist sprint track to land a contest dominated by those drawn high.
After the field had to be reloaded following a faulty start, Mariol was able to grab a prominent position from stall 11 of 13, as the field split into two groups.
At halfway the stands' side group had a clear advantage and it stayed that way as Mariol finished a length and a quarter clear of the Jennifer Bidgood-trained Lisselan Diva, with the same distance back to Green Dandy.
The first three home were drawn in the three highest numbered stalls, and with the winner paying 39-1 on the Paris-Mutuel, and the third 56-1, any lucky punters who correctly found the trio will have struck gold with a payout of €5,338.20 for a €1 stake.
