THOMAS COOPER has issued a upbeat report on stable star Forpadydeplasterer as he prepares for Saturday’s Keith Prowse Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown.
Last season’s narrow Irish Independent Arkle winner chased home the Paul Nicholls-trained Herecomesthetruth on his seasonal reappearance in the Grade 2 Ladbrokes.com Chase at Down Royal earlier this month, but his trainer is expecting a big improvement from that display this time around.
“Everything is super with him and he seems to have come on great from his first run back,” said Tom Cooper on Sunday. “He has made marked improvement and I’m very happy with his Sandown preparation at this stage.
He added: "It promises to be a real good race and the plan is to travel over with our fellow on Thursday.”
