Folkestone to inspect at  on Monday for Tuesday

FOLKESTONE will inspect at 2pm on Monday to decide whether or not to press on with or call off Tuesday's scheduled fixture.

Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross said: "The temperature is due to remain above freezing through to Tuesday. There is a couple of inches of snow on the course as well as a few frozen areas.

"At the moment it doesn't look particularly hopeful, but we'll give it a chance and have another look tomorrow to see if it's worth persisting with. I need to give the thaw a chance and we'll take it from there."
