Burke runners out of luck at Deauville on Tuesday
Report: France, Tuesday
TRAINER Elaine Burke failed to add to her tally on the last day of Deauville's winter meeting as Finefrenzyrolling and Boots And Spurs finished out of the money.
Burke's Normandy raiders have been in decent form since the turn of the year, but Martin Harley enjoyed an uncomfortable end to the fillies' conditions race when the saddle slipped on Finefrenzyrolling, with the pair coming home seventh.
The race was won by Nymfia (Carlos Laffon-Parias/Jerome Claudic), who made up plenty of ground in the final furlong and a half having before taking the measure of Meisho Olivia.
Boots And Spurs was somewhat taken off his feet during the early stages of the the claimer over 6½f and, despite making ground in the straight, could only manage sixth behind winner Small Frida (Pia Brandt/Gregory Benoist).
